Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities
- Work with superintendents to plan, organize and direct activities related to construction projects
- Aids in estimating potential projects
- Implements project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications
- Proactively develops relationships with the subcontractor community
- Manages and obtains necessary permits for each project
- Processes change orders
- Drafts and submits subcontractor contracts for each project
- Promotes health and safety standards on the work site
- Sure that the project meets legal requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in construction management or other related fields
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Self-starter
- Preferred degree in Construction Science or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
