Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Analyze labor productivity, manpower projections, and project performance metrics.
- Review job cost reports and identify opportunities to improve project profitability.
- Cookordination with operations leadership, field teams, and project support staff to ensure project success.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, procurement activities, and project documentation.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, contract requirements, and industry standards.
- Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, as-built documentation, and final project deliverables.
- Take ownership of project outcomes and proactively resolve project challenges.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as a Project Manager managing commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or public works construction projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and project management principles.
- Proven experience managing project budgets, labor forecasting, manpower planning, and job cost analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and construction schedules.
- Experience managing change orders, RFIs, project financials, and construction documentation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction management platforms preferred.
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
