Project Manager
About the Role
At 522 Productions, we're looking for a Creative Producer & Project Manager—a leader who can guide clients, inspire teams, manage resources, and keep even the most complex projects and productions moving forward. In this role, you're equal parts strategist, producer, relationship builder, and air traffic controller.
One moment you're presenting a campaign strategy to an executive team. The next you're coordinating a multi-camera production, reviewing creative with designers, solving an unexpected production challenge, or helping a client navigate changing marketing priorities. No two days look the same—and that's exactly why you'll love it.
The work you lead helps government agencies educate communities, nonprofits inspire change, corporations launch initiatives, and organizations tell stories that genuinely make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Balance client expectations, production realities, and creative excellence while keeping projects moving forward.
- Present campaign strategies to executive teams.
- Coordinate multi-camera productions and review creative with designers.
- Solve unexpected production challenges and help clients navigate changing marketing priorities.
- Manage multiple productions simultaneously, shifting priorities while maintaining quality, deadlines, and budgets.
- Build structure, anticipate needs, and keep complex projects on track.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience managing creative projects in industries such as video production, marketing, advertising, digital media, documentary filmmaking, event production, or creative agencies.
- A Bachelor's degree and authorization to work in the United States.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally with clients, executives, vendors, and creative teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Strong technical proficiency with project management platforms, collaboration tools, and both Mac and PC environments.
- A solid understanding of modern multimedia production workflows, including current industry best practices, emerging technologies, and creative production processes.
- Working knowledge of video production, including crews, equipment, production logistics, and the roles that bring a successful shoot together.
- Familiarity with today's marketing landscape, including digital campaigns, social media strategy, content development, websites, and integrated communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with government agencies or public sector organizations.
- Experience managing cross-functional creative teams across video, design, web, animation, photography, podcasts, or live events.
- Familiarity with CRM, resource management, or production scheduling software.
- Experience managing multiple client accounts in an agency or production environment.
- A passion for finding smarter, more efficient ways to improve workflows and elevate the client experience.
Benefits
- Work on projects that actually matter.
- Direct voice in agency decisions.
- Collaborate with talented creatives who genuinely enjoy working together.
- Build long-term client relationships—not just manage tasks.
- Autonomy to make decisions instead of being micromanaged.
- Every project is different; you'll never feel stuck doing the same thing every day.
- Collaborative, supportive, and curious team environment where every person has a voice and every contribution matters.
- Celebrate great work, own mistakes, and continuously look for ways to improve.
