The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing utility construction projects throughout Texas and Louisiana from initiation through completion. This role oversees project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, safety compliance, and client communications to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong utility construction experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage multiple utility construction and infrastructure projects simultaneously across Texas and LouisianaDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and work plansCoordinate field operations with Construction Managers, Foremen, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clientsMonitor project performance and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budgetServe as the primary point of contact for customers, utility companies, municipalities, and other stakeholdersConduct project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and closeout activitiesIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost impactsReview contracts, scopes of work, drawings, specifications, and change ordersEnsure compliance with company policies, utility standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelinesTrack project costs, labor productivity, equipment utilization, and material expendituresPrepare and submit project reports, forecasts, billing documentation, and status updatesSupport procurement activities and coordinate material and equipment deliveriesPromote and enforce a strong safety culture across all projects and job sitesUtilize project management software and digital tools to improve project efficiency and communicationAssist with business development opportunities, estimating support, and client relationship management as needed Must Be Willing ToTravel extensively throughout Texas and LouisianaAttend project meetings, customer meetings, and field visits at multiple job locationsWork in office and field environments as business needs dictate
