Title: Project ManagerDuration: Long-term ProjectLocation: Vernon, CA OR Commerce, CA About The RoleSeeking experienced Project Managers to lead equipment installation projects supporting complex technical and facility operations.In this role, you'll manage the complete project lifecycle for equipment installations, ranging from standard systems to highly specialised equipment such as Computed Tomography (CT) machines and other advanced technical systems. Success requires close collaboration with engineering, facilities, utilities, construction, procurement, operations, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. What You'll DoLead equipment installation projects from planning through project completionDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, funding, and resource plansCoordinate installation activities for both standard and highly technical equipmentEnsure facilities, utilities, and infrastructure are prepared for equipment installationCollaborate with engineering, facilities, operations, procurement, construction, and installation teamsMonitor project scope, schedule, budget, and overall performanceIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategiesPrepare project documentation, schedules, installation plans, and status reportsCoordinate with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal stakeholdersSupport equipment testing, commissioning, and operational readinessEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirementsResolve project issues and implement corrective actions as needed Required Qualifications EducationBachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facilities Management, or a related technical fieldOR equivalent combination of education and professional experience Experience8- 10+ years of project management experienceExperience managing equipment installation, engineering, construction, or facility projectsExperience coordinating projects involving facility infrastructure and utility systemsStrong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and executionExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsExperience supporting industrial, manufacturing, nuclear, DOE, or other highly regulated environments is preferred Preferred QualificationsActive DOE Q ClearanceExperience supporting DOE, NNSA, LANL, or other National Laboratory programsExperience managing technical equipment installations or facility modernisation projectsKnowledge of facility systems, utilities, and infrastructure integrationExperience with project controls, construction coordination, and risk managementStrong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills Work EnvironmentPrimarily onsite positionWork performed in industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, or other regulated facilitiesOccasional overtime or extended hours may be required during critical installation activities
