Description We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver manufacturing projects in a dynamic industrial environment. In this role, you will drive capital projects, process improvements, and new product introductions and transitions while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and operational goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across U.S. and Mexico sites to deliver consistent, efficient, and high-impact results. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be Lead end-to-end execution of manufacturing projects, including equipment installations, process improvements, and new product introductions and transitionsDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverablesEnsure alignment with plant operations, safety, and production schedulesApply continuous improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to drive efficiency and reduce wasteUse data to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutionsTrack and communicate project performance across cost, quality, delivery, and safety metricsCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teamsCoordinate activities across multiple manufacturing sites in the U.S. and MexicoIdentify and mitigate project risks impacting safety, quality, and productionManage project budgets, including capital expenditures and ROI trackingProvide clear updates to stakeholders and senior leadership Who You Are You analyze situations by asking the right questions and using data to guide decisions. You consistently deliver on commitments and navigate complex organizations to drive results. You effectively plan and prioritize work, ensuring alignment with key milestones and objectives. For This Role, You Will Need Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related fieldExperience managing projects in a manufacturing or plant environmentKnowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, machining, or automationExperience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)Strong data analysis skills (Excel or similar tools)Experience working with cross-functional teamsAbility to travel up to 25–40% between Aiken, Mexicali, and SaltilloFluency in English (verbal and written) required Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart PMP certificationLean Six Sigma Green or Black BeltExperience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)Experience managing capital projects or new product introductions Our Culture & Commitment To You At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow. The salary range for this role is $72,653-103,790 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role Work Authorization Emerson will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
