PROJECT MANAGER
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Landscape/Interior Design Project Manager to lead residential design-build projects from concept to completion. This role oversees planning, scheduling, client communication, and coordination between design and construction teams to ensure every project is delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. This position requires managing multiple residential landscape and interior design projects simultaneously while developing and maintaining detailed schedules and timelines. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering clear communication and a seamless, positive experience throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with landscape and interior designers, this individual helps translate creative concepts into successful built outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, scheduling, client communication, and coordination between design and construction teams
- Manage multiple residential landscape and interior design projects simultaneously
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules and timelines
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Foster clear communication and a seamless, positive experience throughout the project lifecycle
- Translate creative concepts into successful built outcomes
- Coverage of subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement
- Oversight of construction progress to ensure quality control standards are met
- Management of contracts, change orders, and project documentation
- Ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and permitting requirements
- Proactive identification and resolution of challenges to keep projects on track and clients satisfied
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of project management experience in landscape design, interior design, construction, or design-build
- Strong understanding of residential construction processes
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Prioritization of budgets and timelines
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and vendors
- Proficiency in project management software
