Our client, a leading organization in complex facility operations, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting building renovation and systems integration projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Project Manager Location: Chicago, IL Pay Range: $50-$55/hr What's the Job? Oversee and coordinate the renovation project of a 10-floor building, ensuring timely and efficient completion. Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to verify the functionality and integration of new building systems. Manage external contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards. Facilitate communication across all levels of the organization to ensure transparency and project alignment. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, safety standards, and facility management best practices throughout the project lifecycle. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities operations, technical project coordination, or systems integration within complex environments. Strong knowledge of building systems including electrical infrastructure, HVAC, mechanical systems, and their integration requirements. Proven experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and engineering teams. Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously. What's in it for me?
