About the role
Loyal Source is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Fire Alarm Systems to oversee fire alarm installation projects throughout the Greater Boston area. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a proven track record of managing large-scale fire alarm projects from inception to completion.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of multiple and simultaneous projects.
- Responsible for project execution and successful completion.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, change order requests, subcontractor change orders, and related project documentation.
- Work with other construction trades to ensure projects stay within schedule.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and challenges to the Operations Manager.
- Responsible for project management, procurement, and budget control to ensure adherence to project estimates.
- Cookordination with customers, contractors, engineers, and field personnel throughout all phases of the project.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, inspections, testing, and closeout activities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to field teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Basic Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing fire alarm installation projects.
- Demonstrated experience working on active commercial construction sites and coordinating with multiple construction trades is required.
- Experience managing fire alarm installations, designing fire alarm systems, and creating submittal packages.
- Experience with fire alarm manufacturers and products such as FCI, Notifier, Fire-Lite, Gamewell, Edwards, Siemens, Simplex, or other major systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, industry standards, and fire protection best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and budget management abilities.
- NICET Certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Pay
$120,000/year
