About the role
Lithko Contracting is seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Project Managers at Lithko develop accurate estimates, provide detailed project information to all parties, and manage the administration components for entire projects. You'll contribute to placing over 100 million square feet of concrete annually across industries such as industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, chip plants, and data centers.

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed and accurate estimates for potential projects.
- Identify and quantify all necessary concrete scope items and collaborate on project strategy.
- Generate customer proposals and preliminary schedules.
- Set up projects, including initial contract review, cost codes, and preliminary budget.
- Ensure correct and timely project information is generated and communicated.
- Create and manage preliminary project schedules.
- Organize logs for all MPOs and POs to track logged items and submittals.
- Perform organized and accurate takeoffs for projects.
- Collaborate with the Project Lead and operational support to develop accurate project plans.
- Communicate information, solutions, and opportunities to the team as needed.
- Compile daily job cost reports to align costs and quantities with the budget.
- Create change orders after understanding customer expectations.
- Execute detailed project closeouts and communicate project information to all parties.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project management and estimating for a large-scale self-perform general contractor or concrete contractor.
- Self-perform experience with concrete is required.
- Experience with a variety of project types, with an emphasis on commercial/industrial concrete.
- Knowledge of construction principles/practices, with experience on projects over $1 million.
- Previous experience performing estimates, submitting bids, and generating proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
