Overview
LABUR is partnering with a client to identify a Senior Project Manager to lead the US client onboarding to a new treasury management system. This is a contract engagement supporting a critical systems implementation that spans both US and European stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end US client onboarding to the new treasury management system, managing all phases from requirements gathering through go-live
- Cook stakeholder engagement across global teams, ensuring alignment on timelines, deliverables, and expectations
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and status reporting using tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira
- Drive system implementation activities including configuration, data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track and within scope
- Lead change management efforts to drive user adoption and minimize disruption during the treasury system transition
- Design and deliver training plans and end-user documentation to support long-term system adoption
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide executive-level status updates, escalating issues to senior leadership as needed
Qualifications
- 7+ years of senior-level project management experience, with a focus on financial systems or treasury management system (TMS) implementations
- Demonstrated experience managing full system implementation lifecycles — requirements gathering, configuration, data migration, UAT, and go-live
- Strong cross-functional and cross-border stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira
- Knowledge of cash management, payments, financial operations, or treasury processes
- Experience developing and executing change management and end-user training strategies
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred
