Koniag Operations Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated Project Manager with an active Top-Secret security clearance to support operations in Williamsburg, KY.
About the role
This position is for a future new business opportunity within a large government facilities complex. The Project Manager will plan, execute, and oversee task order Operations and Maintenance/Custodial efforts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to defined scope.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate priority projects and initiatives per the contract scope of work.
- Manage and lead a team of Maintenance Personnel, Production Control Clerks, Mechanics, and Custodians to deliver contractual requirements.
- Review, track, and close preventive maintenance and corrective action work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure safe and efficient management of maintenance and operations activities, including emergency response and winter operations.
- Monitor emergency back-up and building safety support systems, including Fire Alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems.
- Oversee custodial operations to meet all contractual requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure employees have appropriate equipment and resources to perform their jobs and meet deadlines.
- Coordinate all service and maintenance contracts and mitigate discrepancies directly with the customer.
- Direct and supervise support resources for project assignments and activities.
- Assist in developing and implementing program policies, processes, procedures, and monitor achievement of objectives.
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned projects and coordinate with vendors providing contract services.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and Procurement departments.
- Research and analyze operational, financial, and administrative data to support cost-efficient projects.
- Execute Reimbursable Work Authorizations (RWAs) per Government standards.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports for RWAs.
- Collect and analyze information to prepare reports on program metrics and operational activities.
- Prepare and approve Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols, and other technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
- Provide management services, including administrative oversight, time accounting, inventory management, personnel evaluation, and hiring.
- Perform quality control inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years of project management experience in lieu of the degree.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- Project management experience with Federal Government contracts preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.
- Active Top-Secret security clearance required.
