Project Manager
Brief Description
Kitchell is hiring a Project Manager with commercial project experience to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves contributing to the growth and success of their Texas market by managing client relationships, developing employees, and achieving profitability goals.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure all project estimates are prepared in accordance with project requirements.
- Review and monitor design and construction phase documents for conformance with budget, schedule, and prime contract.
- Prepare instructions and coordinate bidding process; review subcontractor bids for conformance, qualifications, and financial factors.
- Negotiate and prepare subcontracts, contract purchase orders, agreement change orders, and change order requests.
- Ensure preparation and implementation of project chart of accounts.
- Confer with the Project Superintendent and Scheduling Department to provide input for the pre-bid and master construction schedule.
- Review subcontract pre-billing worksheet and monthly progress payment request; monitor payment receipts and disbursements.
- Prepare monthly project forecasts, cost reports, and construction billing forecasts and other monthly project reports as required.
- Supervise, mentor, and conduct quarterly check-ins for all employees assigned to this position.
- Perform regular performance reviews as required by company policy.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred.
- Valid Drivers License with no suspensions or restrictions.
- Ability to drive a motorized vehicle.
