Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with management on overall strategy and resource alignment.
- Support the identification of new markets, clients, and technologies while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Lead proposal development, including risk assessment, profit optimization, estimating, engineering input, technical writing, site visits, and client Q&A.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure a clear understanding of all contractual requirements.
- Carefully coordinate with the pre-construction team, as applicable.
- Maintain full compliance with Keller risk management policies and procedures.
- Proactively identify major risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to protect the company.
- Oversee design coordination, submittals, material procurement, pre-job planning, and project scheduling.
- Plan and lead pre-project meetings with Superintendents and other key stakeholders.
- Partner with the project team to develop strategies that maximize project profitability.
- Build, lead, and support high-performing project teams.
- Ensure all work is executed in accordance with project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with branch and project teams to maintain schedule adherence and budget performance.
- Identify and resolve challenges while capitalizing on opportunities to enhance project outcomes and profitability.
- Identify, track, and manage project changes; escalate issues as necessary to ensure proper resolution.
- Review and approve weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and key performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee accounts receivable (A/R) collections.
- Ensure full compliance with Keller and OSHA safety standards and requirements.
- Partner with HSEQ in the event of a safety incident to support employees and project teams in alignment with company policy.
- Address and resolve all quality nonconformance issues.
- Exercise stop-work authority when safety or quality concerns arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
- Minimum 5 years geotechnical, construction or industry related experience preferred.
- Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessary.
