The Opportunity

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, drives customer success globally through intelligent automated manufacturing and distribution technology solutions. We are expanding our team in Lake Orion, MI, seeking a Project Manager to lead and facilitate the design and build process, ensuring customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Provide leadership for projects including scope, risk, timing, cost, and quality.
• Communicate and facilitate the design and build process as the customer's main point of contact.
• Report status updates during the project.
• Share best practices and lessons learned after project completion using the JR Project Execution Process (PEP).
• Promote cooperation, conflict resolution, and negotiation within the team.
• Have an in-depth understanding of project financial details and budgets.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience and education.
• 4+ years of experience in Project Management.
• PMP certification preferred, not required.
• Comprehensive understanding of Project Management best practices and processes, including MS Project, critical path analysis, and change management.
• Experience managing customer contracts and relationships, and indirectly managing teams.
• Active listening, probing, and concern identification skills.
• Credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment development.
• Negotiation, conflict resolution, and proactive decision-making abilities.
