Project Manager

About the role

As a key position at Jensen Infrastructure, you’ll design and coordinate multiple product lines for precast concrete products. You’ll serve as the point person determining proper process flow to manufacture quality products and fulfill on-time deliveries. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll communicate with the production department regarding schedule requirements, customers, outside sales, engineers regarding project contracts, delivery and yard departments for safe and on-time delivery, and report progress and challenges to the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of large and/or custom projects.
• Oversee the work order process to provide accurate work orders and drawings for production.
• Produce accurate bills of materials (BOM) for precast concrete structures planned for production.
• Input BOMs into manufacturing software to reflect accurate cost accounting for each product on a job-by-job basis.
• Manage project take-offs and estimating for projects in the planning and bidding stages.
• Track and report project progress from submittal stage to product installation via the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare a weekly sales report for the Sales Manager’s review and distribution to the team.
• Ensure mutually agreed-upon contracts clearly specify terms, conditions, and product requirements per drawings and plans to guarantee 100% accuracy in estimates.
• Communicate manufacturing readiness dates, order changes, add-ons, and any issues arising during manufacturing to customers.
• Ensure delivery dates are scheduled per customer needs and fulfilled as requested.
• Obtain project site specifications and safety standards to communicate with dispatch for offloading products and understanding hazards for crane operators.
• Participate in customer entertainment functions (e.g., lunches, dinners).
• Attend tradeshows, seminars, and classes to improve product knowledge and personal skills.

Requirements

• Demonstrated project management experience, preferably in precast concrete or building materials (minimum 3 years).
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management (preferred).
• Enthusiasm and motivation in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for customer service and comfort managing details in a CRM system.
• Commitment to safety for yourself and your team.
