Project Manager

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead residential remodeling projects across the Portland and Vancouver metro. You'll own scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication while delivering the craftsmanship JDI Construction is known for. If you take pride in running a clean jobsite, keeping clients informed, and delivering craftsmanship you'd put your name on, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day execution of kitchen, bath, and whole-home remodeling projects across the Portland and Vancouver metro.
• Build and manage project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and keep work on budget and on time.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, providing clear and proactive communication throughout the build.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety, and progress.
• Review plans, order materials, and resolve issues in the field before they become delays.
• Partner with our design and sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff and a seamless client experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management experience in residential remodeling or construction.
• Working knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and the permitting process.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management skills.
• Excellent communication and a genuine commitment to customer service.
• Comfortable with project management software and standard digital tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily travel to job sites.
