Project Manager
About the role
At Jacobs, our Program Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) team works seamlessly with clients by delivering projects and programs to achieve our clients’ goals. We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at the client site in Baton Rouge, LA, you’ll be responsible for managing the project team and the overall project delivery, but also for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.
Responsibilities
You will manage and provide oversight and facilitate resolution to complex project related challenges. As the onsite Owners Representative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of a project, but also the material management, schedule, cost, scope and safety of the team. By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our team achieve our client’s objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization
- Experience managing projects of $50 million+
- Advanced working knowledge of contract management, pre-design, pre-construction, renovations, demolition, and new construction building systems/components and technology
- Experience with various the disciplines, trades and systems related with an emphasis on full project delivery
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Strong people leadership skills along with building and maintaining client relationships
Qualifications
Ideally, You’ll Also Have Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) (preferred but not required)

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 to $175,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
