Job Responsibilities

  • Manages small to mid-sized projects with guidance and support from senior management.
  • Manages 30–35 HVAC equipment projects concurrently with varying scope and dollar value, typically ranging from $1M to $3M.
  • Oversees project execution from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborates with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
  • Manages project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
  • Reports project status to stakeholders and recommends improvements.
  • Applies an understanding of HVAC equipment, mechanical systems, and construction workflows to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Maintains consistent communication with internal and external teams.
  • Buils strong, professional relationships that support customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Enters equipment orders, issues purchase orders, and ensures compliance with internal procurement processes.
  • Reviews and approves vendor invoices; issues customer invoices; reconciles project financials to maintain profitability.
  • Compares estimated ship dates with contractor schedules and adjusts plans to maintain alignment.
  • Generates service work orders for equipment start-ups and service visits.
  • Participates in company-provided training and stays current on industry best practices.
  • Supports a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management, HVAC, mechanical, or construction-related experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management, HVAC, mechanical, or construction-related experience.
  • Leadership & mentor responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years of project management, HVAC, mechanical, or construction-related experience.
  • Familiarity with commercial HVAC equipment strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and ability to adapt to CRM software.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
  • Financial literacy and comfort working with budgets, cost tracking, and project accounting.
  • Ability to work in a typical office environment with occasional job site visits.
