Project Manager

About the Role

Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients, or geographical area. Manages projects in a manner that exceeds customers' expectations and ensures work adheres to NEC, company safety policies, and OSHA-mandated requirements.

Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. Represents the company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations and strategy meetings. Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interest while maintaining good client relationships. Travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial electrical construction projects, including mission-critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring project success and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Lead project meetings, labor negotiations, and strategic planning sessions.
• Oversee financial aspects of contracts to safeguard company interests.
• Travel as needed for project oversight and client engagement.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of electrical construction project management experience, including oversight of $10M+ projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid Electrical License at the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Proficient in computer applications, oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Business knowledge of vendors in the electrical construction industry.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and MVR check if operating motor vehicles.
