Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close projects of moderate to high complexity utilizing appropriate methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid approaches.
• Develop project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks while ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including status reports, dashboards, and key metrics for PMO tracking.
• Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Lead change management initiatives in accordance with organizational guidelines and best practices.
• Monitor project progress, perform root cause and gap analyses, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Career Development: Manage contract processes from initiation through closure, including vendor engagement.
• Career Development: Coordinate with subject matter experts and resource managers to acquire necessary project resources.
• Career Development: Ensure project activities comply with federal, state, or agency-specific policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of applicable project management experience.
• Proven experience managing projects with varying methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid.
• Proficiency with MS Project or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of PMI's PMBOK Guide and standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction across all organizational levels.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated change management skills and ability to facilitate group activities.
