Responsibilities
- Project management
- Sub-consultant coordination
- Project/task scheduling
- Civil Design
- Plan production oversight
- Preparing cost estimates
- Quality Control
- Client interaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
- Eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of relevant experience
- Experience with Microstation, OpenRoads Designer or InRoads and/or other roadway design software
- Practical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on ODOT/OTA (or other DOT) transportation projects
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Oklahoma, or will have the ability to obtain reciprocity
