Project Manager

Job Summary

At E Tech Group, we are a leading engineering and system integration firm specializing in IT automation and control solutions for various industries. With over 30 years of experience, we help clients develop and implement standardized solutions across diverse facilities. We are currently seeking a Project Manager to lead complex projects involving high-dollar materials and multiple resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal development, including scope, schedule, and cost estimates.
• Manage client communication and resolve scope, schedule, and cost issues.
• Develop and communicate a clear understanding of client project goals and align with company objectives.
• Develop and maintain project cost budgets and reports; manage estimated cost at completion and contingency.
• Lead the project team in achieving project tasks and milestones on schedule and under budget.
• Communicate project progress to the team and to the client, advocating for the project team.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Present regular project activity and financial updates to large audiences.
• Participate in the implementation of new project management tools.
• Develop a strong understanding of E Tech Group's Project Management Life Cycle Stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of dedicated project management experience or 5+ years in a project engineering environment.
• Proficient in project management principles, methods, and tools.
• Ability to implement PMI-based standards and serve as a mentor.
• Proven project leadership on difficult projects, applications, and situations.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Experience managing contracts and/or subcontractors.
• Experience with project management software such as MS Project.
• Familiarity with industrial controls projects and project budget/fiscal accountability.

Qualifications

• Controls Engineering background preferred.
• Experience with true design projects (EOR) preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
