Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains relationships with clients, subcontractors and vendors
• Final review of payment applications
• Aids in creating and carrying out a job specific safety plan
• Ensures a quality control plan is developed and implemented
• Manges the procurement process including labor, equipment, materials and subcontracts
• Supports and manages project superintendents
• Oversees start-up and commissioning
• Manages project close out

Requirements

• Self-starter and planner
• Professional, dependable and ethical
• Ability to supervise and lead a construction team to a successful completion
• Ability to establish and maintain relationship with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of building plans and specifications
• Problem-solving and multitasking is required
• Ability to plan ahead for short and long-term activities
• Ability to implement a plan and follow through to a successful completion
• Knowledgeable in trade responsibilities, building products, equipment, construction methods
• Resourceful in solving problems
• Computer literate and familiar with Word, Excel, Outlook functions
