Responsibilities
- Initiates and maintains relationships with clients, subcontractors and vendors
- Final review of payment applications
- Aids in creating and carrying out a job specific safety plan
- Ensures a quality control plan is developed and implemented
- Manges the procurement process including labor, equipment, materials and subcontracts
- Supports and manages project superintendents
- Oversees start-up and commissioning
- Manages project close out
Requirements
- Self-starter and planner
- Professional, dependable and ethical
- Ability to supervise and lead a construction team to a successful completion
- Ability to establish and maintain relationship with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of building plans and specifications
- Problem-solving and multitasking is required
- Ability to plan ahead for short and long-term activities
- Ability to implement a plan and follow through to a successful completion
- Knowledgeable in trade responsibilities, building products, equipment, construction methods
- Resourceful in solving problems
- Computer literate and familiar with Word, Excel, Outlook functions
