Tasks and Qualifications
- Independently manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing comprehensive project plans that encompass all necessary activities, resources, and timelines.
- Lead the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules, risk registers, and budgets, utilizing defined project management techniques and tools.
- Establish and maintain project governance structures, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Develop and implement resource management plans, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization of project resources.
- Monitor project progress, identify critical path activities, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
- Ensure contractual schedule alignment with all stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans, ensuring effective and timely communication with all stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, proactively addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Provide regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and presentations, ensuring clear communication and alignment among stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage vendor performance, monitoring adherence to contractual obligations and resolving any issues or disputes with stakeholder support.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to approved funding levels.
- Track project expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain budget compliance.
- Develop and implement cost control measures, maximizing project value and minimizing waste.
- Forecast project costs and resource needs, supporting accurate budgeting and financial planning.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations, providing insights into project financial performance.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Proactively identify potential problems and develop contingency plans to minimize impact on project deliverables.
- Lead problem-solving efforts, facilitating collaborative solutions and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Escalate risks and issues to senior management, as appropriate, providing recommendations for resolution.
The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $88,400-$125,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
