Project Manager

Essential Job Functions

• Provide services including administration support, project management, and technical development support for vehicle acquisition program(s).
• Provide recommendations and technical advice in compliance with applicable statutes and regulations, to include the DoD 5000 series and Federal Acquisition Regulations and its supplements.
• Adequately adhere to quality standards and reviews for project deliverables.
• Be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and serve as a single point of contact for those projects.
• Take projects from original concept through final implementation.
• Interface with the organization and its customers in all areas affected by the project.
• Define the project scope and objectives based on organizational requirements; develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Conduct project meetings and be responsible for project tracking and analysis.
• Manage taskers to assure priority actions are coordinated, staffed, and properly executed throughout the organization to guarantee timely, cohesive, and accurate execution of work.
• Analyze information and data, and assess progress of programs, projects, and processes.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team and recommend solutions to organizational leadership.
• Organize, manage, and present information, to include oral recommendations.

Required Skills

• U.S. Citizenship required due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Master's Degree in a specialized field* plus a minimum of 6 years of applicable experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in the specialized field* plus 8 years of applicable experience, or an Associates Degree with 10 years, or a High School Diploma/GED with 16 years in any field with a minimum of 9 years of specialized experience.
• Experience with DoD Acquisitions, managing multiple engineering change proposals, modification work orders and procurement work directives that are associated with combat system survivability, lethality, cab, tracked chassis and auxiliary systems.
• Oversee a portfolio of concurrent projects, guiding cross-functional teams (engineering, logistics, contracting, finance) from concept development through to implementation and sustainment.
• Experience providing leadership with regular high level as well as detailed reports which show the status of the cost, schedule and performance of these multiple individual efforts.
• Facilitate and lead project meetings, coordinate deliverables, and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Conduct comprehensive technical and financial analyses for multi-million-dollar equipment upgrades and modernization efforts.
• Background and knowledge of planning, organizing, performing, supervising, tracking, and reporting on complex programs.
• Develop and manage project scope, scope of work (SOW)/work breakdown structures (WBS), resource plans, and master schedules.
• Monitor engineering change proposals (ECPs), modification work orders (MWOs), and procurement directives (PDs) statuses until completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for projects, liaising effectively with military personnel, civilian leadership, external contractors, and various internal departments.
• Provide professional development briefs and technical guidance on project statuses, procedures, compliance, and best practices.
