About the role
The Project Manager oversees interior design projects from concept through completion for Securian Financial, an owner occupier of class A office space in downtown St. Paul. This position is part of an integrated Cushman & Wakefield management team working closely with the facility & engineering, project management, space planning and occupancy teams and the client.
Responsibilities
- Manage interior design and furniture projects including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact regarding interior design projects, understanding needs and translating them into actionable design plans.
- Participate in development and monitoring of budgets.
- Manage procurement of materials and furnishings.
- Participate in development and maintenance of project timelines, ensuring milestones are met, and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Conduct site visits to ensure work aligns with design specifications and quality standards.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Prepare project reports, meeting notes, and design documentation for internal use.
- Absorb onsite move management for medium (10+) and large projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ directly related experience in interior design and project management.
- Hands-on experience with tenant improvement construction projects preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA or NASAD accredited university or college.
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
