Project Manager

Summary of the Role

Join a large biotech pharmaceutical leader as a Project Manager supporting an SAP implementation within a life sciences and pharmaceutical environment. This role will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to manage project execution, track deliverables, maintain documentation, and support successful implementation activities. The ideal candidate brings strong project or program management experience, SAP or enterprise software expertise, and a proven background supporting technology implementations in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define, align, and manage project deliverables
• Develop frameworks and tracking mechanisms to monitor business and technical progress
• Translate project plans into clear business priorities, technology priorities, and actionable next steps
• Ensure timely execution and completion of project deliverables
• Track testing milestones, data verification activities, and test scenario completion
• Assist with drafting user stories, test scripts, SOPs, and related project documentation
• Maintain traceability matrices, requirement logs, dashboards, and project trackers
• Support cutover planning, transition strategies, and implementation readiness activities
• Attend workstream and PMO meetings to capture action items and follow up on dependencies
• Monitor project status, risks, open items, and deliverable progress

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of project or program management experience
• Experience managing technology implementation projects
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise software platforms
• Background in the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong project tracking, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to translate project plans into clear priorities and execution steps
• Experience supporting testing, data verification, user stories, test scripts, SOPs, or requirements documentation
• Strong communication, follow-up, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to manage dependencies, action items, and deliverables across business and technical teams

Top 3 Must Have Skills

• 8-10 years of project/program management experience, particularly in technology implementations
• SAP or enterprise software expertise
• Proven life sciences or pharmaceutical industry background

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage project deliverables and coordinate with critical stakeholders
• Translate project plans into concrete priorities and actionable tasks
• Track business and technical progress across workstreams
• Monitor data verification and testing activities from a project management perspective
• Support documentation updates, traceability, requirements tracking, and SOP-related activities
• Participate in PMO and workstream meetings
• Capture action items, follow up on dependencies, and monitor open items
• Maintain dashboards, trackers, and project status updates
• Support cutover planning and transition readiness
• Communicate project status, risks, and deliverable progress to stakeholders
