Project Manager

About the role

Coast and Harbor Associates is seeking Project Managers for projects in the Kansas City area. Successful candidates must have at least ten years’ experience managing the design and construction of new or renovated buildings.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects with values of at least $15 million
• Developing, monitoring, and reporting on budgets and schedules
• Providing quality assurance during design and construction
• Evaluating proposed modifications and change orders
• Utilizing current electronic project management software
• Working closely with the project owner to successfully manage projects, including preparing regular reports and making presentations to senior management

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
• Experience managing projects for one or more Federal agencies
• Experience managing projects that involved meeting LEED and SITE criteria
• Experience working in remote locations

Qualifications

• Successful candidates must have at least ten years’ experience managing the design and construction of new or renovated buildings

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
