Project Manager
About the role
As a part of a leadership team, you will direct the day-to-day management of the project, creating a project plan that outlines tasks, timelines, and resources required to achieve the project’s goals. You will support the Senior Project Manager with communication among project stakeholders, manage risk, and monitor progress against the schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting
- Have thorough knowledge of the company's contracts and understanding of all parties involved
- Secure required permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors
- Facilitate project meetings to successfully coordinate work activity
- Lead, train, and develop project team members
- Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline project priorities and issues
- Lead project close-out of project, including turnover of manuals and warranties and preparation of final payment documents for subcontractors
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with counterparts at owner, engineering and design firms
- Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project
- Drive a culture of safety on the project site
- Support the company’s acquisition of new work by participating in proposals and presentations
- Provide leadership to foster an environment of inclusion and diversity
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience. They will have 4+ years of construction experience, with experience working for a general contractor on large-scale construction projects highly preferred. They will also have 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams, and be able to make timely and effective decisions.
Skills
The successful candidate will have an understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project, and be skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors. They will have a strong work ethic, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and be aligned with Clark Standards of Excellence.

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $85,000-$185,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
Schedule
This is a demanding, high-performance environment that requires flexibility to work extended hours, especially during critical project phases or client deadlines. The successful candidate will be expected to monitor and respond to communications as required to address time-sensitive matters or emergencies.
