Join CHA Consulting, Inc. as a Project Manager on our Water Team in Orlando, FL, leading meaningful water infrastructure projects that enhance public health, environmental stewardship, and community resilience.

About the role

As Project Manager, you will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations while contributing technical expertise to deliver innovative water and wastewater infrastructure solutions. You’ll oversee all aspects of project delivery, from proposal development through completion, ensuring environmentally friendly and cost-effective outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage water/wastewater projects from proposal development through completion, providing sustainable and cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients and subcontractors.
  • Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings with operations.
  • Develop project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC compliance as outlined in the Quality Management Plan.
  • Communicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
  • Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience, including 2 years of project management experience (required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
  • Proven ability to manage scope, budget, and schedule of technical tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision.
  • Participation in professional engineering societies or organizations.

Pay

Salary Range: $94,000 - $117,000. Salary is based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and industry standards.
