Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned field resources and projects to completion, ensuring that all field activities are coordinated and on time and within budget.
  • Develop accurate project plans and budgets for all assigned projects, modify as needed, and ensure accurate, complete documentation is delivered.
  • Participate in internal deployment meetings to review job status and implement changes for timely project completion.
  • Provide customer(s) with comprehensive job status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained to deliver close-out documents to the customer in accordance with corporate and customer standards.
  • Create, assemble, and verify documentation for billing on Sage.
  • Understand project scope and customer service level agreements and manage to them.
  • Document work outside of the project scope and assist Program Manager in creating change orders.
  • Ability to work with a variety of personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience with 3+ years specific to the wireless telecom industry.
  • Strong MS Office skills; experience with QuickBase & Sage Software strongly desired.
  • Advanced knowledge of telecommunications project management.
  • Knowledge of Wireless Carriers databases a plus.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively work within a heavily matrixed organization and teams.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Ability to direct the diagnosis of workflow problems, critical paths, and institute remedies.
  • Ability to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies to financial issues.
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Work Environment

Requires the ability to sit for extended periods, stand, bend, walk, communicate via telephone, computer, and/or face-to-face contact, and use basic office equipment such as a personal computer, copier, and fax machines regularly during the course of work. May be required to operate a vehicle for Company business. Work is performed in and out of an office environment.
