About The Opportunity

Build People is partnering with a leading General Contractor in South Florida to appoint an experienced Project Manager to deliver large-scale high-rise projects across Broward County. This contractor has a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-profile residential and mixed-use developments and offers a long-term, stable pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of high-rise construction projects ($50M–$200M+)
• Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract negotiations
• Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with field teams
• Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and design coordination
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary point of contact
• Drive project safety, quality assurance, and compliance standards
• Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers and project staff

Requirements

• 5–10+ years’ experience in construction project management
• Proven experience delivering high-rise residential or mixed-use projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Strong commercial acumen and track record managing large project budgets
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6/MS Project, or similar
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
