About the role
This role may be based at our headquarters in Coppell, TX, or performed remotely within the United States. The Project Manager supports the planning and execution of strategic operational initiatives across North America, such as network optimization, system integration, product launches, and onboarding customers and suppliers. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this role coordinates project activities, tracks milestones, manages documentation, and drives successful project execution from planning through completion.
The Project Manager partners closely with Operations, Security, HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Real Estate, and other functional teams, as well as external vendors, to deliver projects on time, within budget, and without disruption.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary coordinator and manage the day-to-day execution of strategic operational projects and initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams both internal and external.
- Establish project cadence to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, action logs, and implementation schedules.
- Coordinate project activities across multiple functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve project risks.
- Communicate project status proactively and as required.
- Support project implementation while ensuring all documentation is completed and in place.
- Complete project completion reviews to identify best practices, challenges, and opportunities for the project management office.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience.
- Demonstrated successful project management of large projects in excess of $0.5M to $2.0M in cost, revenue, or savings.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, or other project management tools.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on details.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% to support project execution.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to establish strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work with minimal oversight.
