Project Manager

Location: Austin, Texas

About the role

The project manager will lead project teams in the development of System IP, CPU, DMC, Interconnect, MMU, GIC, SoC, GPU, and PHY products addressing various market segment needs. Working closely with the Product Manager, Technical Lead, and engineering teams, the project manager will drive engineering projects from conception to final delivery, ensuring quality, on-spec, and timely delivery of products. This role requires minimal travel to collaborate across Arm and with Arm Partners.

Responsibilities

• Effective communication, planning, scheduling, and tracking/monitoring of projects
• Resource allocation and budget management
• Issue and risk management
• Change management and dependency management
• Delivering high-quality products to committed schedules

Requirements

• Knowledge of microelectronics, intellectual property development flow, and integration
• Experience within the semiconductor industry
• Experience with hardware and Soft IP development lifecycle methods (e.g., waterfall, iterative)
• Ability to build plans from a high-level overview to a detailed schedule
• Skill in determining how to handle uncertainty and generate effective tracking metrics

Qualifications

• A university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science is desired, though other degrees may be considered with confirmed relevant experience

Nice-to-have Skills

• Experience driving projects in a constantly evolving development environment
• Ability to lead team members through personal leadership and clear project goals
• Strong communication with highly skilled engineering teams and partners
• Proactive and pragmatic problem-solving approach
• Formal project management qualification (e.g., PMP)
• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence
• Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail

Pay

Salary range: $161,500–$218,500 per year. Total reward package details will be shared during the recruitment process.
