Project Manager
APTIM is seeking a Project Manager with Remediation Design and Construction experience to support ongoing project work in the New York City area. The ideal candidate is a New York registered Professional Engineer with a proven track record managing long-term, large-value Federal remedial construction projects, including Optical and Vibration Monitoring and Quality Control Management.
Responsibilities
- Project planning and execution in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
- Assemble and lead project team members in all phases of project tasks, from work plan preparation to implementation and completion of field activities.
- Apply managerial and technical expertise to improve effectiveness and provide guidance to project team members.
- Daily client communication and coordination with on-site project team and various support staff, including subcontractors.
- Deliver project financials and deliverables on or under budget, and on or ahead of schedule.
- Perform various project administration support activities from initiation through project closeout.
- Manage project records in accordance with corporate policies.
- Maintain strict adherence to company safety and quality programs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience managing federally funded remedial construction projects; USACE project experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
- Active New York PE registration.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher certificate.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.

Pay
As of the date of this posting, the pay range for this position is $170,000–$190,000 annually. Compensation depends on experience, education, key skills, geographic location, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity.
