Position Summary
The Project Manager for Client Services is responsible for managing assigned projects from pre-award through full life cycle, execution of scope commitments, post-award activities, providing timely client service communication both verbal and written to stakeholders, and following project specific sold margins and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Prioritize client needs and understand their preferences.
- Provide a personalized and memorable experience.
- Actively listen, resolve client problems, and follow up through completion.
- Understand client/project needs and explain requirements/solutions.
- Create meaningful interactions that solve problems, build trust, and forge lasting client relationships.
- Provide concise and actionable information to internal and external clients.
- Proactively reach out to clients concerning issues such as backorders, schedule moves, and upcoming approvals.
Order Planning / Processing
- Review purchase orders to estimates, ensuring all information is executable and accurate.
- Cook up and track requests for information (RFI’s) as required to maintain completeness and accuracy of project information.
- Cook up and track project scope alternates through change orders to ensure material and services provided are billable and collectable.
- Coordinate completion of all Architectural Metals order processing milestones to ensure on-time completion of orders.
- Produce and understand schedule of values as required.
Load Planning / Logistics
- Aid manufacturing and shipping as needed.
- Provide verbal or written correspondence of all schedule revisions and back orders to client.
- Develop material and delivery sequence if required to meet client expectations.
Compliance/Process/Procedures
- Maintain order files per established guidelines and naming structures.
- Follow Architectural Metals process and procedures to ensure compliance with established company policies.
Experience & Skills
Education:
- Associate degree and/or 5+ years project management experience.
- 5+ years’ industry experience is preferred.
Experience:
- Experience in managing projects in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Continuous Improvement (CI) Training is a plus.
- Commercial Construction experience is a plus.
- Resolving client concerns.

- Microsoft Office Suit (Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel, Teams) with high emphasis on Excel.

Work Environment/Travel Requirements
Occasional travel related to other sites / corporate / project sites – Less than 25%.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Lift up to 10 lbs.
