Role Overview

This role involves managing project delivery for application development teams within the pharmacy space. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. The position requires a hands-on approach to project management, interacting with business stakeholders, pharmacy operations, and engineers to ensure schedules are maintained and project goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of a project, including scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Lead the planning effort, including the definition of deliverables, resource assignment, and creation of a work breakdown structure.
  • Manage end-to-end application development projects, ensuring adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Interact with business units, pharmacy operations, and engineering teams to ensure project alignment and progress.
  • Develop detailed project plans, monitor milestones, and generate periodic status reports.
  • Create and manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Juggle multiple projects with competing priorities in an environment with some ambiguity.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a similar discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: 7–10 years of directly related project management experience.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is highly recommended.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proven experience with project management methodologies including Scrum, Waterfall, and Agile.
    • Strong understanding of the IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Experience with project management tools for status reporting, metrics, and risk management, such as JIRA.
    • Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, timeline management, and risk management.
    • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience in Retail Pharmacy or Pharmacy Benefit Management.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing story boards.
  • Experience with Azure or Databricks.
  • Experience supporting the implementation of identity and access management solutions like Entra MFA.
