Full-time exempt position on the Operations team, reporting to the Project Director. In-person at the Hyundai Office in Costa Mesa, California.

About the Role

The Project Manager oversees all aspects of various cases, ensuring successful project completion. Success depends on establishing collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including lawyers, IT professionals, vendors, business partners, and virtual project team colleagues across the US. The role requires operational excellence, professionalism, and the ability to work remotely while serving international clients. The position offers visibility and regular collaboration with colleagues in Operations and Executive ranks.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage multiple assigned cases, often simultaneously.
  • Oversee case set-up and coordinate delivery of case websites, traditional and social media campaigns.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, deadlines, task status, and milestone achievements.
  • Manage client relationships through effective communication, expectation-setting, and deadline adherence.
  • Lead claimant communication and claim review processes.
  • Coordinate with internal colleagues, vendors, and business partners for flawless project execution.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of each case by reviewing litigation plans and notice & administration plans.
  • Participate in processing, deduplicating, normalizing, optimizing, and analyzing large datasets; prepare and distribute reports.
  • Establish and execute adjudication policies to ensure proper payment of claims and appropriate program placement.
  • Identify and resolve problems arising from claims adjudication.
  • Oversee client invoice preparation, ensuring compliance with project budgets.
  • Protect claimant personally identifiable information and other confidential data in compliance with US standards.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and responsiveness to clients.
  • Strengthen industry knowledge and proficiency in relevant applications.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with colleagues.
  • Adhere to business processes while performing tasks.
  • Take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of class action experience is highly desirable.
  • Project management experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Financial, insurance, or legal industry experience.
  • Experience managing client relationships.
  • Basic understanding of web development.
  • Strong ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.
  • Demonstrated track record of accomplishments.
  • Organized approach and superior attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • High productivity while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and quick response to changing priorities.
  • Professional demeanor in all interactions with clients, vendors, partners, and colleagues.
  • Strong problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Problem analysis and resolution at strategic and functional levels.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Travel

Occasional travel may be required to other company locations, company-sponsored events, or client meetings.
