About the role
The Project Manager (PM) ensures projects, quotes, and customer deliverables are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule. This role requires a solid understanding of project management skills and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor project and quote performance, ensuring schedules, priorities, and customer expectations are effectively managed.
- Drive consistent execution across all assigned projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Operations to support shop priorities and customer needs.
- Execute and coordinate NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and ECR (Engineering Change Request) activities, ensuring proper documentation, timely resolution, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and effective communication across departments.
- Maintain job packets, post-rebuild reports, and part-cart check assurance.
- Participate in weekly PM meetings, production meetings, and lead meetings to drive results.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcing, including managing the procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with business experience.
- Project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment.
- 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, quoting, budgeting, and resource management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and customer expectations.
- Experience managing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ECRs (Engineering Change Requests), including corrective actions and resolution tracking.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficient in project management software, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and project reporting tools.
