Project Manager

About the role

We are a locally owned marketing and visual communications company that specializes in client solutions. We are looking for a project manager to join our busy team. The Project Manager translates the customer's ideas and requirements into cost effective printed materials and multimedia projects which achieve their objectives and meet their needs. This individual must be creative, detail-oriented, driven by quality and sensitive to production issues related to the jobs.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain customer’s trust and confidence
• Handle all communications with customers in a professional and respectful manner
• Break projects into steps or sets using strong analytical skills
• Ensure projects meet customer objectives and needs
• Manage production issues related to jobs
• Multi-task and productively utilize time and equipment
• Combine creativity with practical production mentality

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher preferred
• Ability and willingness to learn new hardware and software techniques
• Knowledge of printing and prepress requirements a plus
• Proven record of customer service and/or sales
• Solid knowledge of POS system and order entry processes
• Excellent customer relation skills
• Ability to combine creativity with practical production mentality
• Design experience for internet and social media platforms a plus

Education and Experience

• College/university degree in Communications, Business, or Graphic Arts preferred
• Two or more years of experience in a customer service environment

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
