About the Role
Work directly with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Customers to maintain project schedules, ensure compliance with project specifications, and coordinate field service.
Responsibilities
- Interface with applicable managers in reviewing and evaluating project requirements and schedules.
- Prepare and update various reports for management utilizing multiple software packages including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Prepare project schedules and checklists.
- Coordinate control/instrumentation requirements with electrical engineers.
- Coordinate mechanical requirements with mechanical engineers.
- Follow up with clients as necessary regarding project status and unpaid invoices.
- Assist with field service scheduling and troubleshooting.
- Monitor and facilitate project progression from order intake to commissioning.
- Run communications with external customers and internal production teams.
- Monitor project budget and expenditures.
- Participate in project milestone production meetings.
- Spearhead equipment final inspections as intermediate quality checks.
Requirements
- Strong technical experience in industrial machinery manufacturing.
- Municipal and/or industrial wastewater treatment equipment experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deal with interruptions to successfully complete complex assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with various software packages including Microsoft Excel, Word, and AutoCAD; SolidWorks experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a group.
- 3+ years in managing projects, production programs, or technical teams.
- Solid experience in project management with machinery.
- Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to read/interpret plan drawings and specifications.
- Experience in OEM equipment design & manufacturing is a plus.
- Engineering or manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to work under deadlines on multiple projects and serve as liaison between customers and internal execution teams.
- Experience with municipal and/or government contracts for mechanical equipment is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or significant relevant work experience.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $39.02 - $43.27/hr.
