Project Manager - Acquisition Integration
About the role
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, training, and onboarding. This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage tasks, collaborate effectively with technical teams, maintain organized, high-quality content across multiple platforms, and train users in best practices. You’ll support cross-functional projects by training and supporting team members on documentation and best practices, ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible, and aligned with established standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage SharePoint and Confluence content, including page updates, structure organization, permissions, and template usage
- Assist with records management activities as required
- Use Jira to track tasks, support project workflows, update issues, and maintain dashboards or reports
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including guides, procedures, knowledge articles, and project materials
- Create training and briefing materials, support administrative onboarding with access requirements
- Recommend improvements to documentation, workflows, templates, and content organization
- Ensure content meets organizational standards for clarity, consistency, formatting, and accuracy
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in technical editing, document organization/management (5 years with a Master’s degree)
- Proficiency using Jira and Confluence
- SharePoint site administration experience
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills; team player
- Must have current Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- ICBM weapon system and program support experience
- Experience with the Air Force Tongue and Quill, Air University Author and Style Guide, The Chicago Manual of Style, and the US government Plain Language Guidelines
- Prior experience with DoD Acquisitions Programs
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $107,952 – $183,518. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
