What You’ll Do
- Controlled implementation of changes to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Analyzes reports and metrics to maintain process of record for customer, reconciles data variances and uses that information to guide the identification of deviations from process of record, and develops a plan with the team to inform customer of upcoming changes.
- Works with cross-functional team to maintain change records for supplier changes, supplier POR changes, and obsolescence requests.
- Interfaces with CCC team, Supply Chain, Product Management, Spares, Manufacturing Operations, and Customer Services business group to track engineering changes.
- Owns Key Product Indicators (KPI) and deliverables of the group.
- Prepares part change notifications based on problem statement and proposed solution.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 8 years of related experience; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or 3 years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data to support decisions.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in life cycle analysis, Product Change Notification, Component Obsolescence Management, and Supply Chain Management.
Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Proactively identifies problems and drives solutions and makes decisions that are based on the values and principles of the organization.
- Proven experience in Program Management and Project Management in technical or operations programs.
- Good understanding of BOM (Bill of Material) structure.
- Proficiency in SAP MM and SD, MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Proven stakeholder management skills in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate cross functionally with a desire to work as part of a global team with high a degree of attention to detail.
