Project Manager 3 (Data Centers) - Phoenix, AZ

About the role

A full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Project Manager is needed to join Convergint's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed within budgeted costs and schedules, enhancing positive cash flow and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate projects of moderate complexity from award through completion.
• Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans.
• Communicate project requirements to the project team and wider organization.
• Establish project milestones and analyze costs.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, services, and controls.
• Act as "our customer's best service provider" at all times.
• Oversee subcontractor selection process.

Requirements

• Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Initiative and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment.
• Adaptability and strong financial analytical skills.
• Experience managing client relationships and communications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Preferred Experience

• 5-7 years project management experience.
• 5 years relevant engineering, field service, or project management experience.
• Experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
• Industry-specific certifications and/or licenses.

Qualifications

• College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
