Project Manager 1

About the role

Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage projects typically valued up to $1M, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manages many aspects of assigned projects from award through completion, including overall site management.
• Prepares project installation plans, manages plans, and prepares and implements job procedures.
• Translates customer needs into detailed proposals and project implementation plans.
• Communicates project requirements to the project team and wider organization.
• Manages procurement of materials, supplies, services, and controls necessary for timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
• Manages subcontractor selection process and work.
• Manages direct reports, if applicable.

Requirements

• Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, electronic security systems, and AV systems).
• Associates degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years relevant engineering, field service, or project management experience.
