Project Management Support

Location: Bethesda (fully on-site, no remote option). Must have a Poly clearance to apply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze IT portfolio of programs and their associated capabilities and services.
• Support the evolution of the client’s strategic direction and priorities.
• Make recommendations to aid client decision-making, including proposed strategies and/or roadmaps; identified risks, capability and performance gaps, and dependencies; alignment with the strategic framework and priorities; and funding and related program issues.
• Assist government clients with programmatic goals and objectives, schedules, and reports to senior-level executives.
• Communicate technical topics in a non-technical manner to senior-level audiences.
• Collaborate extensively across multiple entities, including experience working with partners outside the US.

Requirements

• Typically requires a BA degree and 12–15 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10–13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Strong writing and grammatical skills for drafting products.
• Knowledge of portfolio, program, and project management disciplines.
• Familiarity with planning, programming, budgeting, and execution disciplines.
• Knowledge of key performance indicators.
• Strong analytical competence, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience working with seniors in diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environments managing competing priorities.
• Produce deliverables in multiple formats as needed (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to take charge of a group and set strategic guidance for a team of subject matter experts (SMEs).
