Project Management Specialist – ISC Data Governance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data governance projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Cook up cross-functional teams to promote data stewardship and accountability.
- Monitor compliance with data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate communication and training related to data governance best practices.
- End-to-end guidance for document control processes.
Responsibilities
- YOU MUST HAVE proven experience managing data governance, data management projects, or data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data quality, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience working within ISC or related function – planning, procurement, quality, etc.
- Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
About the role
Lead and coordinate data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across the organization. Manage projects that implement data governance frameworks, policies, and standards, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive data stewardship and accountability. Report directly to our Director and work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen due to contractual requirements.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field.
- Must hold a Project Management certification or similar.
- Must have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must have familiarity with data privacy regulations and data security best practices.
- Must have experience with ERP tools such as SAP or Oracle.
- Must have experience with Snowflake, SQL, Alteryx, and Python.
- Must have experience with Project Management tools (Smartsheets, Microsoft Projects, etc.).
- Must have experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
