Project Management Senior Manager
Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Transportation Project Management Senior Manager for immediate employment in either the Kenova, WV or Morgantown, WV office.
Lead engineering teams consisting of entry to mid-level engineers and technicians in development of roadway and bridge design plans for transportation projects with WVDOH and local agencies.
Perform business development and marketing activities in order to generate future business.
Project scoping and budget development, including complex and high-profile roadway design projects.
Communicate with clients, agencies, stakeholders, and the public.
Manage innovative transportation projects including financial, schedule, and design task management to deliver high quality plans.
Project financials, invoicing, and cash collections.
Assist with development of marketing strategies for targeted projects and clients within West Virginia.
Attend AECOM Project Management Certification Program.
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus 10 years of experience working on transportation projects or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
- 2 years of demonstrated leadership
- WV Department of Highways (DOH) Experience
- MicroStation and InRoads experience with an emphasis in traffic, transportation engineering, water resources, structures or other related field required
- Demonstrated scoping/estimating complex roadway/bridge projects
- Demonstrated experience tracking and managing project budgets and schedules
- Experience developing and mentoring junior staff
- Valid US driver's license, and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review to travel to work sites and client sites
