About the Role

Aldridge is seeking a Project Management Intern to assist project management with administrative and operational duties that support project planning, execution, and closure.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in coordinating the project team as directed by the team
  • Promoting safety on the jobsite, and working closely with the Safety Department to ensure that any safety issues are addressed properly
  • Advocating the corporate quality program and assisting with the tracking and administrative aspects of our quality program components, including pre-job planning templates, task lists, and roles and responsibilities
  • Supporting excellence in project execution through tasks such as procuring tools, ordering and tracking material, documenting project costs, and interfacing with subcontractors and customers
  • Learning and demonstrating core competencies including adaptability/flexibility, customer focus, decision making/judgment, initiative, and quality

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a college or university
  • Willing to work in a variety of roles depending on the needs of the department
  • Solution-oriented, problem solver with a hands-on and team-oriented attitude
  • Organized and have good communication skills
  • Ability to relate to a diverse group of individuals throughout the organization
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, preferred
  • Demonstrate genuine interest in the construction industry

Pay

The hourly base pay for this role is between $20.00 and $25.00. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
